Your #1 Source For Gaming And Tech News

This is a piece of tech news for both PC gamers and Mobile phone players who use Windows, Both Windows Phones and Windows Operating System; Windows RT will be getting the Unreal Engine implemented into this via Epic Games. Yesterday, Epic Games co-founder and CEO Tim Sweeney revealed on their official fan forums that the company plans to bring the Unreal Engine to bot aforementioned platforms.

Here is how he revealed it:

“We have been doing some work in this direction (implementing various levels of WinRT API support) and we want to have Windows Phone support eventually, but we’re a very long way from having a ship-quality implementation,” Sweeney writes. “Right now our mobile efforts are really focused on iOS and Android based on their huge market sizes. We have a lot of work to do on these platforms before expanding to other mobile platforms such as WP.”

But as of right now, it’s pretty much all talk at this point. No doubt gamers will flock to share their disapproval of this endeavor from Epic Games.
