Rejoice, Hardcore Vita fans, Sony Japan is releasing 3 new games for their struggling little handheld for the west. Game # 1 is Soul Sacrifice Delta, an update of an older Vita game made by Keiji Inafune releasing on May 13, 2014. Game #2 is called Freedom Wars, an action-RPG in which you play as different criminals who fight monsters with while wearing Beats by Dre headphones. They fight for their freedom a la the Suicide Squad. Finally, is a 100% Japanese game called Oreshika (Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke) or “Go Forth Over My Dead Body” which is a JRPG in following a cursed Japanese clan that must seek help from the gods themselves.
The one thing you can take from this news is that, you guessed it two of these games are Monster Hunter clones. If you ask me though, I don’t think that this will help the Vita sell more units if anything it’s just Sony falling into old habits of selling niche Japanese games to American anime fans, I guess. I guess I’ll check them out when I get my Vita for review.
