Your #1 Source For Gaming And Tech News

This is some pretty interesting news, on Call of Duty’s official website, there is now an option to register your Nintendo Network ID. This is really interesting because the Wii U hasn’t had a Call of Duty game since Ghosts. What does this mean? Given Treyarch’s history with Call of Duty, I would go ahead and say that this confirms Call of Duty Black Ops 3 on Wii U.

Treyarch has always wanted to put Call of Duty on Nintendo’s platforms, going back to the Wii, they were the ones behind every installment that made it to the platform. While Infinity Ward didn’t want anything to do with the platform, it was Treyarch that eventually brought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex to Wii. Treyarch supported Wii U early with Black Ops 2 and then with Ghosts.

It is good to see Treyarch continuing its support of Nintendo platforms and while nothing is confirmed, I am taking this as a confirmation.
