It would seem that hell has finally frozen over, because Capcom has actually announced a new Mega Man-related release. Gasp!

That announcement is Mega Man Legacy Collection. It will be an HD collection of the first 6 Mega Man titles on NES with new additions like a Challenge Mode and an Art Gallery. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

The collection will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this summer. It will be getting a 3DS release in winter. The game will be priced at $14.99 on all platforms.

It may not be a brand new game, but at least Capcom is acknowledging the Blue Bomber in a decent way for once with this collection. Maybe Capcom has finally realized that easily making money without being scumbags to gamers is a good idea?

Maybe.
