Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 released late last month as a buggy mess of a game on PS4 and Xbox One, and the game has received very poor reviews across the board. A last-gen version was supposed to be released on November 13, 2015 on Ps3 and Xbox 360, but Activision has announced that those versions will be on indefinite hold. Here’s the full statement from Acitivision.

We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360. We will update the community when we have more specific information about a release date for PS3 and Xbox 360″- Activision

This hold is very likely due to the horrible state THPS 5 was released in on current-gen, so a last-gen version is probably not even feasible for Activision at the moment. Also, don’t be surprised if the last-gen version is cancelled entirely due to poor sales, negative reception of the initial release, and a multitude of technical problems.

It seems as if Activision shouldn’t even bother and should just apologize for the mess that is THPS 5.
