Seems like there is a special edition of Injustice: Gods Among us headed our way. Titled “Legendary Edition”, a France Amazon listing states that the game is coming to 360, PS3, Wii U, PC, and also the Playstation Vita later this year. The news was broken to us by the board members on the TestYourMight forums. We didn’t expect a special edition so soon, but for me personally I am excited to see what this edition will offer.
According to this listing, gamers can expect to see this new edition of the game hit shelves on November 6th this holiday season. Which, by the way, could prove to be absolutely terrible when taking into account all of the big-hitter games as well as the new next-gen consoles that are going to be releasing around that time period. We can assume that this version of Injustice: Gods Among Us will include all of the DLC characters (Lobo, Batgirl, Zod, and Scorpion, along with a secret 5th character that Boon has been teasing) and most likely all of the new costumes. Some new stages and maybe even some new environmental interactions would be more than welcomed as well.
No further details can be drawn from the listing, but for Wii U owners maybe this version will actually include the much-needed rooms and private match features, though that definitely still needs to come in a patch. And pronto. Because despite the DLC and the update that came along with it for the Wii U version a couple of weeks ago, sadly these two basic and totally necessary features were still nowhere to be found. Wii U owners are still left in the cold, unable to set-up and play private games with friends.
That’s all the news regarding this new edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us now, but stay tuned for any official reports and announcements.by
