World’s Largest Video Game Collection Sold for Over $750,000

Earlier this month, a man by the name of Michael Thommason put his video game collection up for sale, which was the largest in the world. This collection was made up of about 11,000 games.

Someone finally bought the collection today for  $750,250. At the end of it all, there were over 50 bids made, including bids from Oculus Rift creator, Palmer Luckey. Just last week, the highest bid was at $10,000, meaning it had an increase of about $740,000 in just 7 days.

Whoever made this purchase is really lucky to have a collection like that, and to be able to afford a bid so large in the first place.
