Atlus and Vanillaware Teaming Up for an HD Project

Atlus has announced that it is teaming up with Vanillaware, developer of modern classic games like Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Odin Sphere, for an HD project. No information is currently known about the project beyond that just yet, but Atlus is planning to make a full reveal on June 20.

Will it be a brand new title or an older title remastered in HD? It does seem odd that they specifically mention HD when HD is the standard these days. My number one guess would be that either Odin Sphere or GrimGrimoire will be getting an HD version, or both of them will (both were published by Atlus originally and developed by Vanillaware, and they were both standard definition PS2 games). We’ll find out soon.
