Mario Kart 8 Now Includes Voice Chat – Is Nintendo Listening?

Earlier this month, GaminRealm was the first site to break the news that Mario Kart 8 would not feature voice chat. Yours truly found this information on the Wii U’s eShop itself where “Game Chat” was missing from the features list. Looking at Mario Kart 8’s list of details now though, turns out that “Game Chat” is now listed.

Even before we broke the news that MK8 seemingly would not include voice chat, some fans were clamoring to Nintendo to include it in the game. Is it possible that Nintendo has actually heeded to the pleas of it’s fans?

First, we have Nintendo supporting to competitive Smash scene, and now this. Is this is a sign that Nintendo is truly starting to listen? Leave of your thoughts down below.

What a crock of shit. We make shit up, then turn around and say nah its actually true. And Nintendo actually listens to a site that is no one’s #1 site for Game and technology news.

Gimme a break. I usually never post negativity on the net but this crappy game journalism needs to stop.

    • 1) How was anything made up? I reported the information that was on the eShop. Now the information on there has CHANGED, therefor, we’re reporting the change. That’s what a journalist is supposed to do.

      2) Who said that Nintendo listened to GaminRealm? Please read the article. I clearly state that it seems like Nintendo listened to it’s FANS, not us, because tons of people have actually took to Facebook and Twitter asking Nintendo to take voice chat more seriously in their games.

      3) Please pay attention.

      • I thought u said it wouldn’t have voice chat? damn, Nintendo listened… I bet they saw that Shokio’s Nintendo Direct movement and realised they were being Grinchs. You should check out his youtube account. Though his knowledge of smash bros is base-level, basically for the competitive people… I bet he probably has never heard of bomb-ombs..
