Minecraft Coming to Oculus Rift and Gear VR

It was announced September 24th by Oculus VR that Minecraft will be getting official support for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR. While there are mods for the standard PC version of Minecraft already that allow usage of the Oculus Rift development kits, it will be interesting to see how the Gear VR, which is powered by your smartphone, will handle Minecraft in virtual reality. Please note that not all smartphones are compatible. As for the Oculus Rift, it will be interesting to see what official support can bring to the table.

It was also announced back in E3 2015 that Minecraft would also be coming to the upcoming Microsoft HoloLens, a virtual reality headset that doesn’t block out your vision from your surroundings. Will we see any similarities between the Oculus Rift, Gear VR and HoloLens support since HoloLens is a different approach to VR?
