Just as Street Fighter 4 is getting an Ultra update, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is getting an Ultimate update. The update boasts a whopping 100 balance changes to the roster and the update also delivers on the third costumes for Isaac Clarke of Dead Space, and Zeus, of Kraken-releasing fame. The update is pretty easy to get all you have to do is connect the game to the PSN while online and you’ll be automatically prompted to download the update. And it’s free. Unless you don’t have Issac Clarke or Zeus in your game then it’s $1.99 to get the characters. But the update works whether or not you have both characters. It’s works for both the PS3 version and the PS Vita version of the game. Sony Santa Monica would go on to say:
“Over the past months we’ve read every word, clicked every thread, assessed the game balance inside out, to ensure as best as possible, this balance update would not only bring a superior new challenge to the game, but also feel heavily impacted by your voice,” remarked Sony Santa Monica Community Strategist Aaron Kaufman.
“Thank YOU and our “hats off” to SuperBot Entertainment for creating an incredible fighting game for PlayStation fans world-wide.”
Enjoy it because this is the last update to the game. Because the company had already confirmed that there will be no new DLC in the near future. I’m hoping that maybe this will help get the game back into competitive play circulation as in the past, balances have always changed the game for more people to get back into it but I really doubt it.
