The Sonic the Hedgehog series is one I hold dear to my heart, and it’s chock-full of nostalgia (despite the low points). Fans of the series are waiting to find out if Sega has any exciting plans for the blue blur’s 25th anniversary. Most are hoping for a high-quality game for PS4 and Xbox One considering all that we’ve gotten recently is an iOS game and… the three Sonic Boom titles.
According to Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog PR Manager, Aaron Webber, the company does indeed have something planned for the 25th anniversary. Sadly, they won’t be saying anything until early 2016.
I hope that Sega has something of quality and substance ready for Sonic’s 25th anniversary. The poor guy deserves better than he’s been getting.
