Shenmue 3 is Pushed Back to November 2019

Shenmue 3, one of my most anticipated titles that was set to release in August 27 2019, have been pushed back to November 19, 2019. This game was a kick starter that became record breaking in the amount of funds that Deep Silver, the publisher needed to make the game. According to Polygon, an announcement was made by creator, Yu Suzuki and Deep Silver, stating “We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve!”

The much needed delay to ensure that consumer’s get the best experience from their purchase, can’t be stressed enough. After having conversations about another title fans have been waiting for, The Last of Us part 2, people seem to be anxious and frustrated. I truly enjoy hearing that delays have been announced because seeing what has already been displayed to us being amazing, I can’t wait to see what changes can be made to make it even better.

Are you disappointed about this delay for Shenmue 3? What do you want to see from this development team and what would you like for the final game build to deliver? Let us know in the comments below.

Make sure you stay tuned to for more information about Shenmue 3.
