The upcoming new entries in the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, have been receiving a mixed amount of criticism on both great and horrible terms. While the divide is to be expected for the core entry being the first since the GameCube with Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. All arguments are valid from their respective standpoints, but after seeing the new information, courtesy of GamingBolt, Pokemon Sword and Shield file size’s are expected to be 10.3 GB of space on your Nintendo Switch. That information if true, could mean this will be Pokemon’s largest file size to date, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee’s file size was only 4.55 GB. In comparison to how massive of a scale we’re talking for games on the Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, has 14.4 GB of storage needed to play. 10 + GB for a Nintendo Switch game is a huge file and if that information is true, that means we could be in for a real treat come November 15. The file size hasn’t been put out by Nintendo or is even announced yet. But a Twitter user by the name of @MIN428 posted a download card for the game that had the information at the bottom stating the file size was 10.3 GB.
