{UPDATE}Got Xbox One? No Internet Connection At Home? Can’t Update? Microsoft’s Got You Covered…Wait, No They Dont

Yesterday, We reported that Microsoft’s infamous 180 policy of the DRM setup for the Xbox One can be reversed with a Day One update through the internet, had an alternate process for those potential Xbox One owners without Internet. It seems today as far as the DRM topic is concerned, Microsoft as pulled another 180 on said policy. Today, Microsoft has pulled  its support page that instructed users how to update their Xbox One systems offline using a USB drive.

A representative of Microsoft says “the site was not an alternative way to take the Day One update and customers still need to connect to Xbox Live for the update. Because of the complexity of this customer support process we’ve actually removed the page and we will work with customers directly to make sure they have a smooth experience.”
