Wii U Sells Over 40k Units Worldwide Last Week

With Windwaker HD being the only major release for the latter end of this month, the Wii U has managed to sell over 40,000 units worldwide for the week of September 28th.

While this isn’t by any means an insanely high figure, remember, earlier this year the Wii U would sell 40k and sometimes even 30k units for the whole entire month. But now, it’s selling that much in a single week. This is undoubtedly a drastic improvement, and September will most likely mark the very first month this year that the Wii U sells over 100,000 units in a single month.

Hopefully the release of Sonic Lost World later this month will further improve the sales of the system and no doubt Super Mario 3D World will light the sales charts on Fire.

It seems that the Wii U has finally hit a constant, higher stride. Let us know what you guys think down below.

The WiiU will be fine just like the 3ds is. Everyone claims doom and gloom for Nintendo but every time Nintendo comes out fine. They do need to stop apologizing for delays and either get rid of Iwata or make him accountable for promises. Him and Reggie make me so angry.
